Hey People! Today for the Summer Learning Journey we did something called a Summer Poem! A Summer Poem is just a regular poem but you have to write about Summer! Anyway, I think it is time I show you my poem!

Ka pai for creating this amazing summer poem! I love the pastel colour scheme! It looks so nice.
I really like how you used repetition of "It's summer". I think repetition in poetry is a great device!
The line "drinking lemonade made me refreshed" was great. It gives me a clear picture of cooling down after taking a sip of a nice cold drink!
What is your favourite thing to do at the beach? I love reading a book in the shade.
