SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) - Blog Post #5 - Building a Bridge

Hi there Bloggers! It is me, Nishka! Today I am going to be blogging for the Summer Learning Journey (again)! Anyway, today's blog post is about  'Building a Bridge'. I thought that this one was quite cool and I thought that I would give it a shot! It was actually quite challenging! 

I decided to make a Truss Bridge which can actually hold 32 ibs! I thought that that was quite heavy! While I was making the Truss Bridge, I thought... "What other Bridges could I make???". I just decided to make the Truss Bridge though. I made the Truss Bridge on a Google Drawing and I think that it looks awesome! What do you guys think? Please tell me your thoughts! SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) - Blog Post #4 - Draw a Geometree

Hi there People! It is Nishka here! Today I decided to do a another math activity but it is also some arty stuff as well! You can either use pen or paper OR Google Drawings. I decided to use pen and paper because I thought it would be easier! It is called 'Draw a Geometree'! I found watching the video of how to do it very cool! 

Let me show you what mine looks like!

So, here is what mine looks like! I am really happy with it though I didn't really add much spaces. I thought that it still looked cool! I liked the way that all the colours I have added to this popped! My favourite colour from this would probably be Green! If I had said 2, it would be Purple and Green. Can you see a Scalene, Isosceles, and a Equilateral Triangle? I can't! I can only find both Scalene and Isosceles Triangle(s)! Can you find all? Comment Below! SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) - Blog Post #3 - Vector Art!

Hi there bloggers! Can you guess who it is (drum roll in my head...), it is Nishka (bet you probably already knew that hehe)! Anyway, I made this blog post because it is are and I also loveeeeeee art! Art is so fun! Besides that, this blog post is about Vector Art! Now, you may or may have not heard about Vector Art before, so, if you don't understand, watch this video!

So, did you see the video? I hope you now know what Vector Art is if you didn't! Now that you have seen that, for this blog post, we had to create a Christmas Decoration from Vector Art! And then, we had to make that represent something that is unique to you and your family, I have made an ornament out of Vector Art and then put what is unique to me and my family!

Family is quite unique for me and my family thinks the same! This is because we have more boys in out family and we are all quite short! We also like opposites from each other! 

Underneath this text is where I originally got the picture of the cartoon ornament from so I would like to give credits to them for making it!

Anyway, now that you have read this hugeee toilet roll of words, I will have to say that this is the end of this blog post! But, of course, I will post another one tomorrow (if I have time)!

(Counting to Ten in Maori!) - SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) - Blog Post #2 - E hia ngā mea?

Hi there bloggers (or people who just view (peoples blogs)! How are you guys! Anyway, this is my second blog post of the Summer Learning Journey! I really enjoy doing this and I hope you guys enjoy reading my blog posts! It is so nice to see people learning a new language! I really want to learn Spanish! 

Besides that, let me tell you what this blog post is all about! This blog post is all about counting to ten in Maori! It was very fun to do this! I also added a bit of spice to my poster ✨

So, this is what it looks like! It took me quite a while to do! This was because of the images! I am actually really proud of this and I hope you are too! The Summer Learning Journey is very exciting and has taught me a lot of stuff throughout YMS!

Cybersmart 26: Make your own image!

Hi there! My name is Nishka and today I am going to be telling you about what I did for this activity! This activity was about making your own image! Do you know how to make your own image? If you don't know how to make your own image, let me tell you! 

First of all, open a Google Drawing, then create an drawing with some tools! After making your picture, download the picture as a PNG Download! There you go! You have now made your image! Anyway, now that you guys have now learnt how to make your own image, let me show you mine! I had to make a monster for the Cybersmart Challenge! Let me show you!
