Connect 4 Challenge (Different than what YOU think).....

 Hey guys! My name is Nishka (if you didn't know)! Anyway, today I am going to be telling you a lot about what I just finished! I like doing these activities! Let me spill all of the tea! So, the Connect 4 Challenge is an Online Google Drawing where there are sixteen activities. you have to do four activities. They can be in anyway, just like the game Connect 4! Instead of using those coin things (whatever they are called), You have to complete 4 activities! Have you done this before? If you haven't, I suggest you try it!
Anyway, I put all the activities I did in a Google Slide! Please read it! It also has an image of the Connect 4 google drawing if you wanna know what it looks like! 

I also have another slide which is the Cybersmart Challenge! This one is all about Google Hangouts!

Level 4 Lockdown...

 Hi there people! Yes, I know... New Zealand is now in Level 4 Lockdown. It was a real big shock to the South Island because we have only heard that Auckland has the COVID-19 cases so far. I was also in shock that these people who have COVID actually have the delta virus. I didn’t think that the whole South Island would be in lockdown just because Auckland has the COVID-19 cases.

I am really upset that I don't get to see my friends. Even though I hate lockdown I have to say that lockdown was a good idea. This is because people from different countries could be coming to New Zealand not knowing that they have the virus. I know some people will agree and some will not but this is the truth. I am saying this because the person who has the delta virus from Australia is not vaccinated!

This is why I want everybody to stay safe at home and don't go out unless you wear a mask! Thank you for reading this blog post and I hope that everybody stays safe! Bye!

The Truth of Friday the 13th...

WLJ - A New Travel Invention

 Hey there guys! I am Nishka and today I am doing another Winter Learning Journey (finally)! Yes, I know. This is my second one today! I am really happy that I am doing this blog post! Time goes past really fast, doesn't it? Comment down below! Anyway, today's blog post is about inventing something that you can travel with but with a twist... You have to use some things from your house and use it for you travel transportation. 

I am going to be doing this on Google Drawings which is a good google thing to use when drawing on a device (if you didn't know). If I had Procreate, then I would probably use that but sadly, I don't have Procreate. I will talk about Procreate soon.

The only thing that came to my mind was the flower pot we had. So what I did what use the flower and just put it as a pattern on the car! It can actually quite fun to do! I would have done an airplane but I wasn't that good at making one.

Wings of Fire - The Dragonet Prophecy

 Hey there bloggers! I am Nishka and yes, most people already know my name but anyway, I am just going to say that I have been reading this book on Epic called Wings of Fire! I am reading book 1 called the Dragonet Prophecy! It is a really good book and I am going to tell you a bit about the book.

There are 5 young dragons which are destined to stop the war that is happening against dragons. They try really hard. Then something bad happens... They try to escape to the dungeon and lucky enough, their smart technic works! 

This book was written by Tui T. Sutherland. She is a really good author and had made 14 Wings of Fire books! I haven't read all of them yet but while I am still reading Book 1 of Wings of Fire, I can already tell that the rest of the collection is going to be AMAZING!!!

I would recommend this book to people who are 8 - 12 year olds because it is about mythical creatures which are dragons and there is some dying so this is why I recommend it to 8 - 12 year olds.

I like that this book has a lot of action and that the book has powerful words! I really recommend you guys to read this book! Anyway, more about the book, there are different places which are even real and you just feel like they are real! All the alliteration is amazing and words! The cover of the book also makes the book look interesting to read!

WLJ - Researching the World - A Well-Known Sport

Hey guys! Whoever reads at least 3 of my blog posts no matter how long they are, you will be joined in my new group call ~BobaBubbles~! Now that we have sorted that all out, lets get to the real blog post! Hi there! My name is Nishka and today's blog post is about a well-known sport played in your country. I live in New Zealand and the most well-known sport is actually Soccer, Rugby and the other sports that you kick balls with you foot. I am not going to do these sports, I am doing Netball. I know this sport very well, even if I only started this year! In Netball, there are 3 positions. Attack, Defence, and Centre. 

Attack - In Attack, you are the only position who is allowed to shoot. You have to stay at you end of the court.

Defence - In Defence, you have to defend the ball from the other team getting the ball. With this position, you cannot shoot. You have to stay at the other teams half so that you can defend the ball from the other team trying to shoot.

Centre - In Centre, you are the player who starts with the ball, you have to try and beat the other team your competing with. Again, you cannot shoot with this position.

WLJ - Researching the World - New Zealand

 Hey guys! It is your girl Nishka and I am super duper sorry I haven't been posting a lot of blog posts in a while! I had to catch up with some homework my mum gave me. (UGHHH! SO ANNOYING AND STRESSING!). Anyway, be like you never read that! 

Today's blog post is Activity 10 on the Winter Learning Journey! This is about making a video of a country you like and its facts! Facts like about it's food, what the most popular game is and other stuff. You could add stuff that really isn't necessary. Anyway, let's get into it! I used Screencastify for this so, YAAA!
