Hi everyone!

My name is Nishka and today I am talking about The Water Project!
Lots of people don't get water in Africa!

• There are 3 million people who need water because people who get water is dirty! 
• 
  
• Did you know that the sea animals eat plastic because people throw rubbish in the sea? Well, it is bad because when humans drink dirty water, that is what will happen to the sea animals but a little different. 
• They eat rubbish and then when the plastic goes inside their tummy, they die! When the sharks want to eat the sea animals which have rubbish inside their tummy, the sharks eat them and then the sharks die!
• One of the most important resources that we have on planet earth is water. Without water, we would not survive. 
• 
  
• In NZ almost everyone can get free, clean drinking water. However this is not the same in all parts of the world. 
• 
  
• The Water Project is helping to solve this issue and bring drinking water to places that do not have it.

• I think in Africa, they should make a dairy because then they will have clean water to drink and fresh milk!

The Greatest of All Time!

Hi bloggers! I am Nishka and today I am Garry Kasparov! Check the link out! The link is highlighted it pink and yes, what I was talking about was right today because I am Garry Kasparov today! Garry is professional at Chess! Chess is an Indian game which is hard to play when you first get it but easy to play when you get used to it! So I have to write 2 good facts about Chess and 2 bad things about Chess.

2 Good Ways
I am a professional at Chess and I love to play Chess! I love to play with my partner because he also knows how to play Chess! We both love to play Chess!

I am going to try and get better at Chess because I want to be the best! I will want to be better than my partner!

2 Bad Ways
Chess it boring because there is really nothing to do and they didn't add much detail to play Chess. Chess is the worst game ever! I wish Chess was made from Christchurch!

Summer Learning Journey, Teaser Edition.

Hi everyone! My name is Nishka and today I am going to be talking about the Summer Learning Journey, Teaser Edition! Well, let me talk a little bit about the Summer Learning Journey, Teaser Edition! It is similar to the real Summer Learning Journey because it is showing us the activities to practise the real Summer Learning Journey!

So, first of all we had Lorde which her real name was Ella! We had to make a Venngage about Ella/Lorde.

I chose Ella/Lorde because I love to do a Venngage! I decorated my Venngage and I put some facts about her on my Venngage that I found on the Summer Learning Journey page! I also took a screenshot of it! So, just take a look!

The Amazing,Cool Friend/Visitor!

This morning we had a friend/visitor here in Yaldhurst Model School! We went to the Wharehui to see a dog which was a Dalmatian dog! It's name was Baxter and it's handler was Chris! He was a person who would help dog's if they are hurt or sore!

We learnt something from Chris and we got to listen to the song...



IF A DOG IS ON IT'S OWN' LEAVE IT ALONE! This was my favourite part because the song was so fun to sing along the song! The song thought us how to take care of the dog!









Miss Walters took a picture of Miss Tebbett petting Baxter! Miss Tebbett loved petting Baxter! She liked how Baxter listened to Chris for everything he said!








 We had Dylan to go in the front to pretend that Baxter pooped on the ground and he pick up the poo poo!

Yaldhurst Model School Goes To Town!

Hi everyone!

This was my favourite day on Wednesday 13th November 2019 was a special day because we got to go… Town! YMS got to go Town! It was so much fun there because we got to go at a show where people play music! They played lots of songs like Frozen, Harry Potter and lots more!




My most favourite one was the Harry Potter one! I am a huge fan of Harry Potter! If you are in Yaldhurst Model School then you will already know so you really don’t need to read. I love Harry Potter and I know lots of facts about Harry Potter because I have watched the movies! I love the Harry Potter music so much and Miss Walters even made a video.




We also listened to Star Wars and Frozen! Out of Frozen and Star Wars I think my favourite is Frozen because Star Wars is kind of a boy's movie so ya and here is a image!










After the songs, we got to go at Margaret Mahy Park! We first had to eat lunch and then we got to go to the playground we had to listen to the teacher's rules before we got to play. we had to eat our lunch first we're not all of them how much you can eat and then you had to wait for all the others that it's fair for the others to play at the playground. my favourite part at the playground was the big Steve slide which was so fun it was really high first you had to climb a rock or then you slide down the steep slope which is so much fun because you're very high up. The slide was actually kind of stiff so it was actually kind of slippery!

Guy Fawkes!

Hi everyone! My name is Nishka and today I am going to be talking about Guy Fawkes!

To myself, Guy Fawkes was a scary day because... I will tell you this in a set of slides that we have done! Speaking of slides, I will actually tell you some about the slides!

So, last term our class and TM1 have been working on a set of slides called Guy Fawkes! The set of slide's was we needed to find information about what happened on Guy Fawkes Day! 

So first we had to write questions about Guy Fawkes! Then we could pick which question we wanted and highlighted it! The rest is on the slides so go and read it!
